APOSW has special interest groups that meet to discuss and focus on specific areas of practice. Each year at the Annual Conference, members of the working groups meet to identify goals and progress and to establish methods of continuing the work throughout the year. All members are encouraged to identify an area of interest and participate in the annual working group meeting at the conference as well as in the ongoing work throughout the year.
The areas of interest are:
• Bioethics • Blood & Marrow Transplant • Brain Tumor • End of Life • Integrative, Complementary, and Alternative Medicine (ICAM) • Palliative Care • Sibling • Survivorship
Additional information about APOSW's Special Interest Working Groups (SIWGs) is available to APOSW members in the member section of this website.
If you would like to contribute in one of these special areas, we invite you to join APOSW now!
