APOSW has special interest groups that meet to discuss and focus on specific areas of practice. Each
year at the Annual Conference, members of the working groups meet to
identify goals and progress and to establish methods of continuing the work
throughout the year. All members are encouraged to identify an area of
interest and participate in the annual working group meeting at the
conference as well as in the ongoing work throughout the year.
The areas of interest are:
- Survivorship
- Integrative, Complementary, and Alternative Medicine
- Siblings
- Blood & Marrow Transplant
- Brain & Spinal Cord Tumors
- Palliative Care
- School Re-Entry
- End of Life
Additional information about APOSW's Special Interest Working Groups (SIWGs) is available to APOSW members under the member content area.
